First time met. Feb:
First met in the UK Zhonghshan group 2007 Chinese New Year dinner， thought Katty is cute and attractive, a little bit fat in my opinion. First talk in the underground station after the dinner. Second time met in Oxford, a Chinese take-away resturant which I worked part-time there, Katty came for dinner with her friend, she came and asked whether we met before, I recognised her and asked her email address, she even gave me her cell phone number.

First call. Mar 19th:
As having her email address I added her as my friend on facebook. Then brave enough to call her for the first time after a few messages on facebook, I asked 'I'd like to visit Bath (a famous tourism city), will you be able to company me?' She said 'yes' promtly without any doubt.

First time dating. Apr:
I drove 3 hours to Bath, first time seeing her I felt very happy, we went to a very nice Italian restuarant for dinner. It was such a nice day, we knew each other more, and found we have similar interests and tastes. I liked her more but didn't show explicitly. In the evening, I drove her home in fact I didn't want to say goodbye, I hope she s got the same feeling. After arriving home at 1am, she called me, we chatted for 3 hours! Katty said she s coming to visit me the next day!I was really happy. She spent 2 days in Leamington Spa stayed at my flat, this time I was the tour for her.

First time meeting Katty's friends. Apr 19th.Bath. At a disco club.
I went back to China for 2 weeks. Apr 25th.

Sep:
A wallet for her as birthday present.

Engaged. DATE
At a resturant


Canada trip. Met Katty's family. Dec.
I applied for the Canada visa only the third time was sucessful. The first time was refused. I was kind of gave up of the trip to Canada, but because we were considering to marry and I found is a good opportunity to get to meet Katty's parents, brother and sister. The second attempt I wrote a letter to the immigration officer to explain she was my fiance, but still rejected due to lack of strong tie in UK. So I provided my bank statement,car ownership contract, school letter, also explained I am renting a house with a time-constraint contract. Finally in the third time, my application got accepted. We flew to Toronto together, we stayed at her parents house. During our vacation, her parents showed me a few places but since it was snowing almost everyday, the destination was restricted by the cold weather. Her parents brought us to Downtown along the Young St on X'mas Day, but a bit disappointed since its a public holiday very quiet on the street. A few days later we took the casino coach to Niagara Falls. in fact,it was really cold that most of time we stayed at home.



Rented a flat lived together in London from Aug 07 to Jul 08.


2008

My birthday March 9th:
Katty organised a romantic dinner at a Japanese resturant in central London, after the meal a birthday cake brought to us by the waitress with a candle,it was a surprise. GIFT?


Katty fly to China for summer holiday from Jul X, came back to UK on Sep 1st, while I was working in London at the time.
